7th March - Photos

This evening Steve brought his camera and equipment along and took some photos of everyone. Over the next few weeks he'll then help us to edit the photos and make them look more 'arty'. He showed us some great examples of what we might do with them.

It was also Sam's birthday and he brought a cake along. Here's a picture of us all eating it!!

1st February - Painting

Hi everyone

We had a great night painting the corridor of the church this evening. Everyone had a go with a paintbrush or roller and we got the job done without making too much of a mess, which is a bonus. Hopefully we'll now be allowed to decorate the 'beginners room' (where we usually have the karaoke machine). If you were there why not leave a comment.

25th January - Chill Out

Tonight 25th was what I would term a"chill out"at the Club as we did not have anything special planned for the Programme. Numbers are building up slowly again after the Christmas break. Some members played Snooker while others enjoyed a Karoke session. The piano was also heard!
We did gather towards the end to distribute some info. re future events and also a short prayer.
Catalyst was advertised so hope to see you there.

18th January - Bullying

This is the first blog posting of the New Year, after a bit of a break over Christmas - I hope you all had a good one.

This evening we spent some time looking at the subject of bullying. There weren't many of us there but I think it went quite well. 23rd November - Service preparation again

Hello to all,

Tonight was very creative as we worked in two Groups, Music and Drama, to prepare for Sunday night's Youth Worship. We completed what we began on November 9th (see previous blog )! It was a night of Fun; Faith and Fellowship. Looking forward to Sunday night's Presentation.

3rd November - Cake sale

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that the muffins you made went down a bomb. Thanks for all your help on Sat 3rd Nov. I was asked if the muffins were professionally made because they were so good. We managed to make £472. This will be given to the Great Commission Trust and then sent on to the Nakuru projects to be used where they feel it would be most useful. Please let me know if you have any more good ideas for fund raising, thanks once again.

19th October - Puppets

Here is my little summary of Friday night last 19th.

For the majority of our Members tonight was devoted to preparing for our Christmas Puppet Nativity. 2/3 went off to write the Script while the majority had a "brainstorming" session of IDEAS. It is to be a modern version of the Nativity with a local touch! Costumes, props, music etc. were discussed. More to come ; watch this space!
